Their warm smiles and quiet assuredness, made us feel welcome and well tended too. The meals were each a work of art, and rival that of any fine restaurant! - Kadek and Wayan are both to be commended on their culinary skills. And we particularly enjoyed our final night, with the performance by the village orchestra and dancers. When we emerged from our rooms that afternoon, after a long day of touring, we were shocked to see the lovely display of flower petals lining the pool, with little tealights. We knew then we were in for an amazing evening and we were not let down at all. The warmth and the pride of the villagers apparent that evening made for an even more remarkable and unforgettable experience. We sat with our mouths open the entire time and really did think we were dreaming. Every villa tenant, should have the privilege of witnessing this wonderful event! He made us feel so welcome and well cared for during the entire time and was so patient and kind with all of our hundreds of questions about Bali, the people and the culture.
